2025 World Championships - Where Are You Watching

Sadly, the the only event I can watch live without sleep disruption is the Pairs Short (and possibly Women's Short). Haven't checked the times for the free yet.
Your part of the world will have to do what I do when events are over there. Stay off social media and watch your own version of "live". You can fast forward through warm ups and ice resurfaces. There's nothing to it.!

I didnt even book mark the Ladies Free and Mens free Tara and Johnny shows. Just the world feed. It will be interesting if the audio mix issues that have followed Chris all season follow him here.....Surely they dont let him touch the mixer controls??????

Ooooh. Only 2 hours to go!

After the shock of the BBC showing all the segments LIVE at Europeans, we are going back to the normal amount of coverage for Senior Worlds.

Well, sort of. Because the BBC are actually giving us one segment more than they normally do. BOTH Ice Dance segments are being shown LIVE. Presumably because they are expecting Lilah and Lewis to win the title. (When will the BBC ever learn? They always build up expectations of the British athletes and then, when they don’t win, make out that it is a disaster).

Because there is a highlights programme on BBC2 on Sunday, I suspect that the BBC will have their own commentators, rather than just using the World Feed commentary like they did with Europeans.

By the way, in my schedule listings, I have also included the final showing of a programme about the Special Olympics held earlier this month that was first shown last weekend on the BBC News Channel. I haven’t actually seen the programme yet, but I saw the last minute or so of it a few days ago when waiting for something else to come on, and there were figure skaters shown.

And sorry that this is rather late. I didn’t have a chance to do it any sooner.

Hi, does everyone know who commentates on cbc during the program? Is it Duhamel? They only say that Browning and others will be doing the Gem coverage of each day later on.

Kurt Browning, Carol Lane and Brenda Irving are doing the CBC specific coverage commentary. Chris Howarth and Kirsten Moore-Towers are doing the ISU streams that CBC is also showing.

Just popping in with a reminder that in an hour from now, BBC2 will be showing 90 minutes of highlights from the Senior World Championships.

Here is the link for the BBC2 coverage on the iPlayer:

Details on how to receive BBC2 are in my TV Schedule post earlier in this thread.

Hope this helps

I know I could have gotten a VPN, but instead I resubscribed to Peacock just so I could rewatch the pairs SP. I wish my TV would let me choose an International feed for broadcast quality with Chris and Kirsten instead, but I'm taking what I can get. Short of figuring out how to stream Peacock on my TV which I know I can do but doesn't give me as easy control as watching on my laptop. ETA: I guess I wasn't fast enough to watch pairs short as there is only a 2 day timeframe to watch within the event. I still think Peacock sucks that way. Why can't they limit the space on other events for livestream and NOT figure skating. Sigh. Now I don't know where else I can watch pairs short from Worlds 2025!
