No, it's one entry in 2 events for singles and ID.
Are you sure? Because no matter how small the country or there ranking ... they always get one skater per competition in juniors if I'm not mistaken .. and if is one skate per 2 events and no more .. why put them in the first event without the first vetting the athlete?

Yes, this is the minimum possible amount of spots.

Because it will be very easy for them to get into China.

Judging by FAQ, Russian and Belarusian athletes are considered AIN after fillilng out the form (with the exception of M/G and S/B). But it can be revoked for violations. However, it is clear that the juniors couldn't violate any of these rules.

A country that did not participate the previous junior worlds only gets one quota per category at two JGP stages, except pairs, where such country gets one entry at three JGP stages. So in pairs we will potentially see two pairs, I presume one at first JGP with Russian participation, second on the other and the better of the two will gain the last entry. But girls, boys and dance... Only one will be sent, decided by the performance at the junior test skates. It will be a bloodbath there...

well .. will love bloodbath

For me it's kinda cruel. I would, even regardless current Russian situation, give the country that did not participate at junior worlds one entry at three stages so they could alter in case the skater at first stage did not do well, got injured or sick and so on, so there could still be a chance to qualify for JGPF from remaining two stages.

BTW, The ISU new rules are very ridiculous. They even removed Euler - The rules are incredibly polarizing. The skater like Ilia Malinin - he must be so disappointed. No idea if Russian domestic competitions will follow ISU new rules?

Team Plushenko must be adapting to the new ISU rules for Elena, I think. They should add 3 x level 4 spins at least to replace the 7th jump /1 Euler - this is what ISU must want to see. Mao Shimada is leaving junior and go to senior level - at this moment there is no rival for Elena in Junior International.

Elena is currently injured and has a huge hematoma.
The doctors prescribed rest and excused her from training, but her mom took her to Voronezh, and there she’s skating at a public rink. As of yesterday, she was barely managing 1–2 triple jumps.

I very much doubt that she’ll be considered a candidate for the first stage. Especially given her comments on social media, which are far from neutral. There’s hardly a junior skater who is further from neutral status than she is.

Wow OMG among the Juniors in Russia I like her the most. Hope she will get well back very soon.

So she is in Moscow actually - ok i cross my fingers for her. So i dont think she is sick - she seems to be cheerful, bright and no issues.
She hadn't been on the ice for two weeks and was only able to land a 3F yesterday. Even if she returns from Voronezh to Moscow tomorrow, she still has a long road ahead of her on the path to recovery.

They will now, under the current development.

Oh, i am sad. Kostyleva sure earned that assignment, but if she is injured... Dzepka then, I hope. I can't wait for junior test skates. Of course, certain posters did everything they could to have the main thread closed, so it is impossible to discuss the test skates for all disciplines until National events forum has a test thread.

I mean, it's not a serious injury, thankfuly. If she's already back on the ice, she'll probably be fine by test skates. She seems to recover quickly. And the actual gp stage is over a month away, so plenty of time to recover. They can put her as the main submission, then replace her with Dzepka if she's not ready to go by then.

As for her comments... well, I suppose it depends on how strict the ISU is and if they'll take her ag einto consideration. Hopefully she will qualify as neutral

With four spots available, I wonder if they will just send two athletes to JGP. I might send three, and then give the final spot to the highest scorer. But, then, that means just one athlete qualifies to the JGP finals. There are three girls that are in contention:

Elena earned the spots as Junior National Champion. Sofia (my fave) was 4th, but, won the Finals. Lidia is also in contention, in my opinion, as she placed 2nd at the two most important events.

Four spots means one spots for each discipline each. Not four spots for just ladies.
