I'm happy to see Haruna got late assigments, hopefully will be released on time.
Nice to see so many names.
Looks like the Aussie Fed is taking full advantage of the spots Hana won them last year - I’m so happy about that!

Patrick Blackwell and Kirk Haugeto climbed quite a bit after free skate (U.S. Junior Team Cup) so they'll probably get JGP spots.
Top 7:
1. Caleb Farrington
2. Patrick Blackwell
3. Kirk Haugeto
4. Louis Mallane
5. Daniel Koppel
6. Hitonari Tani
7. Zachary LoPinto

Yay to Hitonari Tani- also known as Jinn-Carl
Most improved junior men Hitonari Tani, Vaclav Vasquez and Ryedin Rudedenman
Big recovery by Kirk Haugheto! Louis Mallane - so consistent

Tough battle for JGP slots among the ladies today. Some big comebacks from Madison Chong and Elizabeth Tu who had to dig their way out of poor SP scores - but not likely enough to get them in the top 6. Some big drops too from Cleo Park and Annabel Watkins - falling far out out the top 6 they held in the SP. Competing is hard and sometimes you have to lose to learn how to stay steady across both events. If I may say though there are several women from my home state of Michigan in this field. They have had moments of brilliance and disaster - Emilia Nemirovsky is one who is going to make the top 6, just holding off her Detroit SC teammate Mia Smith. Jessie Jurka who won the short finished 7th in the free to get silver while Annika Chao who was 7th in the short rallied to win the FS and be the overall winner. Skylar Lautowa PEGUERO finished second in the short and third in the free to finish third overall.

Top 6 women
Annika CHAO Glacier Falls FSC
Jessica JURKA, Denver Colorado FSC
Skylar Lautowa-Peguero SC of New York
Hannah KIM Glacier Falls FSC
Angela SHAO Broadmoor SC
Emilia NEMIROVSKY Detroit SC

Complete results can be found here

Mods - we really need threads for these events and for 26-27 US Women & Men please and thanks!

Madison had the highest TES score of the free skate!!! 😳

I’m happy Annika won!! She is a lovely skater. I’m glad she received the highest PCS.

To me, it is clear that these top 6 will get just one JGP event. The girls field is too tough and I don’t see any of these girls on the podium of any JGP event coming up. So, they might as well give all six of these girls some international exposure.

Annika, Hannah, Angela, and Emilia all proved themselves last year. Jessica and Skylar with their medals here, proved themselves with these skates. Mia Smith is the one who just missed out and probably should have finished top 6.

Rachel is my other fave… too bad she couldn’t skate here.

All it shows . Is that figure skating in all disciplines will be tough .
A lot of talented ones coming up in all countries. Competition will be fierce with Russians.
