2026 Canadian Nationals : Men's Long Program

Anthony was really focused jumps-wise today, showing off his great GOE quality on those elements. The 3A was a good attempt rotation-wise and he's been landing them in practice, so I don't mind him going for them in competition. Having watched Anthony skate for years, his jumps have gotten so much stronger technique-wise over the past few seasons and now he just needs to work on consistency, but I feel like he is making progress with every competition he does.
VERRRRRRRRY close on the axel.

Bondar is hanging on by the skin of his teeth. The jumps are very scratchy, and the lack of refinement and choreographic commitment is especially noticeable after Anthony. It’s not a fair comparison, but David really needs to get deeper into his knees—otherwise the scratchy jumps and tentative skating are really going to hurt his scores.

Heading back south to watch Free Dance. Hope to catch up with rest of Men FS later. Thank you for watching with me it has been fun. :thank:
