I think he just wants to skate singles. Of course there are tons of partners who would love to skate with him. So that's not the issue.

He should switch….
In singles, he will be a consistent 13th to 18th domestic skater for Canada. He doesn’t have the technical content and don’t think he ever will

Grayson did, but it was his only senior competition since he didn't do Challenge due to injury.
