Don't know why Deanna and Maxime seem to have the packaging of Olympic Gold with the costume, music and choreography, but something seem missing and it's all about the side by side jump. They need to jump their side by side jump this is their weekness as a team.

That was a really strong technical program from Ava and Yoni, they look super well-trained, but I would like to see them dig back into their performance improvements that we saw on the JGP. That step sequence fell a little flat emotionally for me, even though the skating was exquisite. I am super excited to see their free program tomorrow, I think that's their stronger program by far.

Love Ava and , although I would say they look a little tighter and less expressive than usual. Bit of a detachment from the choreography going into the throw triple Lutz, but a great skate from a promising pair.
