this is more what I was expecting before the season started. Here, not only waltz was used for the patterns but also for the first part of the program (the step sequence)

Australian duo was not sophisticated technically but they were entertaining, which made me to watch them fully (otherwise I'm still half sleeping most of the time )

I wasn't expecting a "Mary Poppins" programme when I saw their costumes. But I really enjoyed it. (Even with Dick van Dyke's dodgy accent).

After that, I'm sure Chanelle CHUM / Osckar CHUM (AUS) will have gained a lot of new fans. Including myself.

Awwww. Seeing them waiting for their scores, they are so young!

I have waited so many years for somebody to skate to this.

I have always absolutely loved this piece. But, if I am totally honest, it didn't turn out to be as good for skating to as I imagined it would be. For me, "Toss The Feather" that followed worked better.

What on Earth did Ted call the first piece?! "Aaron Chor"?!

They are not wise in the results area!

That is something that has been troubling me for a few years. The way Ted and Mark always tow the ISU's party line and try to convince us that all is rosy even though whatever change it is they are talking about is highly unpopular amongst fans.

But, given that it is the ISU that is employing them as commentators, it is not entirely surprising.

With a surname like that, Jane has to have Irish ancestry.

Come over here. With Carolane and Shane retiring, we could do with some more new blood alongside newly-switched-for-this-season Anna Waugh / Matthew Jacoby.

well we got more waltzes than I thought we would. That's the good news. My issue is that it's often limited to only when they are doing the patterns... so that's where the choreo is strict. It would have been nice to seeing waltz being danced to waltz time outside of the pattern steps

I enjoyed that instrumental "Sound Of Music" medley from XING Yuxuan / CHAU Han Wan (HKG).

Can't say I liked the golden-brown colour on the costumes.
