She has some big ole jumps. The biggest jumps were from Alexa-but her issue is lack of leg flexibility and skating skills-both problems that could be solved with some work, and I really wish she would work on her issues, because her jumps are so dang good. The flexibility issue means she even has difficulty with camel spins and some simple moves-I can relate, but you just have to work on splits, three times a day. I really hope she comes back with improvement on the rest, because her jumps are so dang good.Strong skate by Emilia!!
Something tells me she will transition nicely from Juniors to Seniors
It really stinks. Some of the older ones work full time while training. Mitchell Freiss, who is on a break and imho will likely retire, is one such skater. You will also see these skaters re use programs more than other skaters. Choreography and costumes are expensive. It be sad if alot of the skaters and teams that i saw at these and other sectionals couldn't come back next year due to money issues
Ken Mikawa is the first alternate. So I saw where Camden Is just starting to jump again. I’m sure he wants to go to the Olympics, as does everyone, but don’t see how he could possibly be ready for Nationals. If he were to WD who would take his place?
I don’t believe he’s hopeful for an Olympics placement at this point, but rather one last Nationals before he retires. So I saw where Camden Is just starting to jump again. I’m sure he wants to go to the Olympics, as does everyone, but don’t see how he could possibly be ready for Nationals.
Ok, but if he is just starting to jump now i don’t see how he could possibly be ready. I’m always thinking of Camden, Andrew, Máxim as being so young, but I guess they really aren’t in skating years.I don’t believe he’s hopeful for an Olympics placement at this point, but rather one last Nationals before he retires.
Yes Alexa G did get injured and is still recovering. She is one of the girls capable of a triple axel when healthy. What on earth is going on with Alexa G? She made a big splash in San José, I believe she got the Skatingly Yours award, and then kind of disappeared - has she been injured?

i read it secondhand and did not have a date available to me - sorry but not sorry...Camden's post was on Nov 19, which was nine days ago.
I think the date matters, because each day of training is a chance to make progress before Nats.
My best to Camden!
