Yeah, the gear shift to Bocelli gave me whiplash. Otherwise it was really wonderful!Could have done without Bocelli, but that was STRONG!

The Japanese will likely win the long program and a silver medal. I'm guessing the Germans will go mostly clean and hang on for 1st overall.

I'll be honest, it will be very hard for the Germans to top that, they will have to be squeaky-clean but even then I don't find their free program to be nearly as strong as Miura/Kihara's. It's been a talking point all season about how Hase/Volodin's program is perhaps their weakest LP of this quad, and I worry that may keep them away from the valuable PCS points they need to win. Maybe they will prove me wrong with a clean skate, but that will be a very hard score to beat, even with the SP lead.

So proud of M/K - that's gotta be the gold - the Germans will have to be literally perfect to even threaten that total. Skate of a lifetime!
