I don't get those GOEs, there was a one very visibly shaky moment in steps but they still got GOEs through the roof.
They looked slow after Charlene and Marco.
Their biggest strength is that Madi really looks so relax and comfortable with her expression, they stand out in this particular aspect, cause other teams looked tense.

I'm a huge Charlene and Marco fan and I think they are always underscored ( and I think they looked like the fastest team so far) but I do think Chock and Bates also have other aspects to their skating that aren't often acknowledged by fans. Most complex choreo and complex hold. They really do the "dance" part of ice dance better than almost everyone else.
