Well folks I hope this is giving you a taste of what is going on here as I know viewing US Nats is always a headache.

Lucius Kazanecki also goes for the 4T in the free. Attack and power is different for him than the other power quadsters. Gosh he is so tall out there after watching Goku & Tomoki. His musicality is developing nicely with this tango music.

His pants are not long enough, he needs dark socks to hide his bare skin.

I had a boss who wore pants like that.. we used to call them his high tide pants.. also, he smelled like low tide (I’ll see myself out now..)
I think Lucius is wonderful! He named Lindsey Thorngren as one of his favorite skaters and has two German Shepards named Nova and Hugo. I think he is 5’ 9”? Unless he has grown since the last check?

Jimmy Ma is on fire in this warm-up says JW. Falls out of the quad - okay lets not peak on the practice. He will include both quads in the program. Better on the second quad. Very playful runthrough. He has said this program is Rudy Galindo inspired. Ilia is clapping as he skates next.

I saw Jimmy outside as I was coming in. I told him I had meant to come to his practice. He said “you didn’t miss much.” I told him I had a special stuffie coming for him and he said “perfect.” Met Katie coming in. She signed my flag. Ran into Spencer Howe’s mom in the bathroom. We had a nice conversation. Met Kirk at the USFS table and got him to sign my flag. He liked my stuffed goose. The EDEA rep has signature cards at his table. I love US Nationals.

Michael Xie looked pretty good, so did Lorenzo Elano.
The others were no shows for Group A

I really liked Michael's skating when he was at the Robin Cousins Cup in August - a really expressive and charismatic skater

• Katie McBeath?? Same advice as for Jimmy - trust yourself, you are more capable than you believe.

aww I am getting all emotional --I have more skaters to root for than we have berths for.
I want the ones who don't achieve their dreams this time to either be able to try again or to rest peacefully knowing they gave it their all in the spirit of all Olympians and if possible to have a satisfying finish at a different major event - especially those who will go on to the next chapters of their lives.
