2027 US Nats; 2026 Skate America locations announced

I see Skate America is slotted for the Angel of the Winds arena in Everett, Washington (formerly the Silvertips -- grizzly bears -- minor league hockey team arena.) The naming rights were purchased by the tiny (240 people) Stillagamish Tribe ("People pt the river") who secured the federal rights to operate a casino in the areaa couple of decades ago. The Angel of the Winds refers to the tradition of the Wind Spirits carrying the voices of departed ancestors and messages preserving ancient culture. :)

@CoyoteChris will you make your way west to Skate America? (I know it's just the same state, not the same area. We get that with Philadelphia and Pittsburgh :) )
Just saw that on IG. Its a nice drive over the mountains in Fall and easy to get to. I may have fallen off the Friends of Figure skating radar so I will have to rejoin. PaulE and I had a good time. I should post a seating chart.

Ref SA. Got motel booked. Travel lodge by Wyndham is about 105 bucks a night with pirate taxes. Signed up for news letter to hopefully get early ticket sales. Open to public 3-26-26 3 pm Breakfast might be a challange...McDs?

Northwest U.S. sounds like fun. I see that 2027 Nationals is scheduled early in a non-Olympic season, Jan 5-10. Maybe to provide more time between Nationals and 4CCs? 🤔
Utah. Its a nice area and pretty close to me but its in Cruising season for me. I am saddened to learn that the Jrs will be in a different arena than Srs at Nats.
Wonder how far apart they will be?

I noticed that the proposals for the US Synchro Nats were earlier than usual too. I wonder as well if USFS is finally realizing that Nats should be held earlier to allow more time between the comps.....

FYI I got the early bird email from USFS. While the seating chart they sent out is not as good as this one, from 2018, it would appear that the 2018 is correct. All event tickets for P1(A) are $600, P1 (B) are $400, P2 is $200, P3 is $100. It is unclear to me exactly what the difference is between P1A and P1B. Will find out later. I would guess VIP amenities what ever they are.

BTW, the way the ticket buying Rodeo works is thus:
If you are a member of Friends of Figure Skating, on March 24 at 3 pm ET you will get an email that will direct you to the early sale.
If you have signed up as a fan for the fan newsletter from USFS, you will get an email on March 25 at 3 pm ET for an early sale.
I believe tickets go on sale to the general public on the 26th.
BTW, Angel of the Winds uses TicketMaster, NOT TicketsWest. It would be a good idea to have an account name and password ready for the start of the Rodeo. There may be countdown timers involved.
Edit: I logged into my account but of course it had to send me an email with a code that insures its really me. They also offered to set up a pass key. I was not able to do this with TM on my desk top but I did do it on my phone.

FYI - the Marriott Courtyard is sold out (since yesterday) I wonder if it will be the official hotel. I was able to make reservations at the Delta (which was the official hotel in 2018) and the Hampton Inn (with free breakfast and lower rates) then will decide which one I would rather stay at. Bought my return flight (red eye) with Alaska travel credit. Will keep looking for reasonable price for flight to Seattle. It's still a long way and anything can happen but I am hopeful that I will be able to go. All event ticket prices are pretty high aren't they I don't remember skate america tickets being that expensive before.
