I feel so sorry for Jasmine COETZEE (ZAF). She never seems to have anybody with her.

She looked so forlorn sitting there on her own. And when the scores came through, and she went into last position, she looked completely deflated. I just wanted to go and give her a big hug.

That's where her ISU Bio confuses me. It says that her coach is Dino Quattrocecere, who is a former South African skater from the turn of the Millennium era. But then it says that she trains in Moscow. And the writing at the bottom talks about Plushenko.

I can't imagine that the Central Gauteng Figure Skating Association has the budget to have one of their main coaches galavanting around the world with Jasmine. And if Plushenko is involved with coaching her, well, let's just say he mightn't feel welcomed in too many places.

It's unfortunate the position it leaves Jasmine in, though.

It looks like Cathryn Limketkai was alone, too?
She's representing the Philippines, it may be financially hard for the fed to sponsor coaches. Maybe the same situation for Jasmine, too.

We top and tail the opening day with girls. We started with the Juniors, and now we finish with the Seniors.

I'm actually playing catch-up on the Senior Men at the moment, though.

I just watched Jan OLLIKAINEN (FIN), the last skater in Group 1 of Senior Men. And he was really losing his temper afterwards. There was more than one occasion when I thought he was going to swing for his coach!

I know I used to harp on about Gabriele Frangipani's behaviour at the 2015 Lombardia Trophy. But, that was just a teenage strop. This was a lot worse.

As somebody who turns 21 in a few months time, Jan should know better. And he should be able to control himself.

Cathryn Limketkai (PHI) just skated juniors short program and now skated seniors. She fell on her only triple jump unfortunately. And it seems there is no one with her at the competition. I hope it goes better for her in the free skates.

You are correct. It is not on the Entries / Results page yet.

What the organisers of the Volvo Open Cup do is to wait until they know for definite how many skaters they have taking part each day. And then put out a new Time Schedule PDF the night before which gives detailed timings for that day, and rough timings for the subsequent days.

The new PDF with the detailed timings for tomorrow is not up yet. But here is the PDF that was put out for today:

(I should add, the PDF says the Adult skaters at the end of the day are all going in one group, but doesn't indicate what order they are going in. So, for the table in the OP, I have listed them in order of level. That may or may not be the case).

Day 2 is starting now with the first of the Interclub competitions, followed by the ISU Free Skates, and finishing with some more Interclub competitions (including the Adult skaters).
