Lydia and Harry are missing from senior pairs and Rebecca Richie and Kyle Macloed from junior pairs. The latter surprises me because they had a higher score in the Aug qualifier than Dracas/Wright.

Alexa Severn is still missing.

Joel Kirkby has paired up with Isla Shenton for Adv novice pairs, which I hadn't realised.

That's a pity that Lydia & Harry and Rebecca & Kyle aren't going to be at nationals - I'm sure the latter team were on the provisional list a couple of weeks ago - I wonder what's happened between times?

It's good to see the increase in numbers of competitors in senior and junior men and senior ice dance.

In case anyone hasn't found it yet, the event is being streamed on the British Ice Skating youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@britishiceskating/streams

I have no idea how long the streams will stay up for. I suspect that it may be like the August and October qualifiers, where the streams were taken down overnight after each day,

Thank you so much. I just assumed it was going to be on BISTV, so didn't even give the idea of watching Nationals a second thought. I've just been keeping an eye on the livescoring.

I am currently watching a 7h 30m marathon of a Junior Ladies FS at the Bosphorus Cup. But there is a resurfacing coming up after this group. So I'll wind back the Nationals stream then to watch Zinia Wood. I haven't seen her yet this season, and I'm curious to see her programmes.

Thank you again for the heads up

:thank:

I had also assumed that it was going to be on BISTV, then realised this morning that they hadn't emailed me about it and went looking. There is no commentary, but that doesn't bother me.

Thank you, I hadn't noticed this either I assumed it would be on BISTV.

Pleased to see it actually has a tech box and all!

Yes, the TES box was invaluable when I was writing my comment about Zinia Wood's SP (which will be posted as part of my report for the Family Fan Fest first thing tomorrow morning), because I am useless at identifying elements.

BUT, the writing is far too small! I had to keep pausing the stream and going over to the TV to find out what it said. If I had been watching LIVE at the time, I wouldn't have been able to do that.

I had the same problem with the Tallinn Trophy's TES box the other week. But the one that they had at the NRW Trophy was great! It had really big writing, but at the same time managed to not take over the screen.

Just as a heads up, the Streams page on the YouTube channel has been removed overnight. When you click on the link, it redirects you to the channel's front page.

Out of curiosity, I re-opened yesterday's stream from the browser history this morning. Although it isn't listed anywhere on the channel, the stream has been archived and is still able to be viewed if you have the address.

So, I wonder if that is also the case with Wednesday's stream, or the other things they have streamed in the past (such as Qualifiers). I don't know, because I don't have the addresses.

Wrong thread. (But this post will come in handy when I watch Zinia later!)

I caught the last few AN girls yesterday, but I am in the office today so not getting to watch much yet!

I've just caught the last three junior girls. Waiting for Leilah Patten's score, and not sure who is going to take it...

Okay, now I am confused... I didn't start this thread!!!

All the posts about Nationals in the British & Irish thread were copied over here to create this new dedicated thread. You were the first person to mention Nationals in the other thread, in this post. So the copy of that post became the OP of this thread. And, hence, you became the de facto "thread starter".

Simples!

(I always love that line of the Meerkat advert. So, thank you for giving me the opportunity to use it here! ;) )

I just accidentally posted that in the other thread lol

I will repeat - junior men is quite exciting as so many have got minimums!
