I am reading the interview from the link you posted.

It seems people have advised her to do pairs after she started DWTS but she doesn't have such desire....at least at the moment

No during the Jive practice she stated that she is afraid of heights, so I think pairs is out of the question

Mine is the Samba followed closely by the Jive !!! Fun, upbeat Adelina rocks on so many levels
Personally any of the dance would do, but the fun dances she can most definitely pull off with the right material!!! Samba or ChaChaCha, I would love to see her skate to one of these style the most

For me, the most spectacular of the series, my instant favourite.

It is hard to choose a few out of them all. I will try though.

I loved the Argentine Tango, Paso Doble, Lyrical Freestyle, Jive and the Jablocka (especially as it is a traditional Russian dance).

'Injury is practically not bothering me. I think training for a dancing show was beneficial. Taking part in it became a real treat for me and I gained a new experience by the start of the new season and also more freedom in a choice of future programs as we with my partner Gleb Savchenko were working in such wide range of different styles.
I was following with an interest all what was happening in our sport for the rest of the season. What our girls – Liza & Lena managed to achieve- is wonderful, the real breakthrough. It will be very interesting to return to the ice with such great competitors and together compete against the rest of the field.'

She can ditch that dress To me, her dresses/sense of style needs a bigger overhaul then her choreography. I can live with the choreography especially when she lands all her jumps. But most of her dresses are a

I hope she doesn't tbh. I know "Je suis malade" is very popular in Russia but sincerely it is very cheesy and that program was a bit over dramatic. I think Dancing with the stars actually made her evolve and mature as a performer/artist so I hope she can manage a more subtle and refined lp.

I loved the program It has potential to be cheesy, but I think she makes it work. Maybe the change the ending a bit but otherwise :thumbsup:

She makes it work because she has a strong personality and she is quite a dramatic girl actually! But for me this program isn't a step up from what she did before, it doesn't challenge her as an artist, it doesn't make her grow. It just relies on what she already does quite well. If she doesn't change the music that i really dislike, whatever, but I hope she reworks the choreography and expression

I like that program. IMO, it's the biggest step-up in choreography she had since her junior days Would I be sad if she dumped it? Depends on what she's replacing it with. And for goodness sakes do not let Tarasova anywhere near it Her competitive programs for Sot are the worse. From Liebestraum (one program that doesn't exist in my world) to 90% of her Aguilara program (footwork was fun) to her Black Swan SP from last year (forgettable; no choreo).

Is it that hard for a figure skating choreographer to choreograph for her? Looking at her on DWTS, I don't think Sot is the problem :think:

I wish she can come back into the scene all guns blazing and be in contention for medals and own her new statute as oly champion. And for that she needs something new and fresh and exciting. I don't know something Latin and sexy or something really modern and edgy. "Je suis malade" just feels really aged and tired to me, something that belongs to Plush or Lambiel mid 2000's galas.

Yeah I think Tat's choreo is a hit or miss. I don't think it suits Adelina.

I'm fine with a change of program/style just a little worried about the choreographer and whether he "gets" her. I don't have confidence that Tarasova and Peter T. do, especially Tarasova.
