She talks about her coaching change, new music, and goals. She's going to be debuting her new short (keeping her long) at the Quebec Summer event. She's not going to Minto.
Alaine always had the aura of a fighter around her and today, after two years of disappointment, the proof was delivered. Well done girl! Congrats to the title and best of luck for worlds.
The following is "bonus material" that was filmed by TSN, but not aired during the Nationals television broadcast (as far as I know---I don't actually have TSN). It was made available only in 540p.
After Nats I was so hopeful Alaine's path would turn upwards, but now she is struggling with her jumps again. We all know she can be so great when she gets her act together. Has she attended a Mishin camp before? Can she now in the summer?

I'm glad Alaine was able to do her part in keeping two spots for Canadian women next year, especially while sick. Here's hoping for a more satisfying conclusion to her season at WTT!
