Well, his hair looked great. :ohwell:

Next up is the gala on Tuesday. After that I'm wondering if he will still do Spartakiad. I'm not sure what the point of taking part in that is though.

I was wondering... is it me, or is his hair looking ever so slightly different? At least it was the sense I had as I watched the video - I may be just imagining things though (my eyesight and all...)

Yeah, I think it was a tad longer. Maybe he missed a haircut, hopefully he is not trying to grow it out though.

(You know, at least in Finland, boys grew their hair out to the "hockey cut" last year. If that trend has moved over the border to Russia, I'm seriously going to cry...)

"Hockey cut" isn't that the same as a... mullet?! ("hockeyfrilla" in Sweden... ) No, no, I think one of those in Camp Mishin is quite enough.;)

I think the last hair cut he had was the one just before Euros. Because usually when he gets his hair cut, the sides are shaved off a little. That's just my observation anyway.

I really doubt he's going to get a mullet. At least I hope not.

OH NO, not that bad… oh gosh.
Google "Sebastian Aho" he has/had that kind of a haircut.
(Sorry, this is off topic, I know)

Looking at the protocols, he really looses too much points in the spins. There would be an easy fix, just count the revolutions since there is nothing else actually wrong about them.

Ikr. His spins have almost always been short on revolutions this season, unlike last season. He's spinning marginally slower this season because of physical changes but if so then they need to adjust the choreo to allow him more time to complete the necessary revolutions on spins. Sasha's never going to be a super fast spinner because of those ultra low heels but his spins are very well centred. It's a pity that he loses so many point on these.

They should be en route back to SPB by now.

About the gala tomorrow... is it really going to be the Tartu program, do you think?

One wonders... Maybe last year's SP would be better? But if Papa Mishin really thought the other one was "fabulous"... ;) Well, we'll see - some suspense for us while we wait to find out.;):)

I would love it if he skates to El Conquistador again.

But I think Mishin loves "Just a Gigolo" more. :slink:

Well, apparently Mishin and Prokofieva attended the prize ceremonies for some others (and even took pictures) but not Sasha's. I'm disappointed in them to be honest. He didn't win gold but he still fought hard.

He skated to "Just a Gigolo" I think. No video yet but he was in that blue shirt in the finale so I assume that was the program.
