Yes Sasha needed that. A good start to her season in the SP and if she can stabilize that by the Grand Prix final she will be super dangerous to everyone.
If Sasha really is going to try just three quads tomorrow that's also more than everyone else in ladies figure skating. If this is done to protect an injury then it's a very wise thing to do because this is the beginning of the season not the end it's time to start building for something and she has a lot to build for. There's no point in killing it now that has to happen at rusnats.
