Sasha arrives to Khrustalny driving a car. This is a pretty cool achievement for a beginner considering traffic in Moscow.

Could you kindly provide a summary in English? Thank you.

A couple of excerpts from the article, run through DeepL:

A report on the popularity of figure skating: the main markets are Japan and the USA, Trusova has record views.
Aleksandra Trusova's performance at Skate Canada 2019 attracted the biggest number of subscribers of the ISU YouTube channel - 1.8 thousand (yes, the ISU seems to have calculated the totals not only for the season 2020/21, but for all the times before that). At this stage, Sasha won with two world records - for points in the free skate and for the total.

In second place for this indicator is the record of the women's short programme at the World Championships-2021 (1.1 thousand). Trusova, of course, also performed there, as well as two other Russians - Anna Shcherbakova and Elizaveta Tuktamysheva.

- Trusova also holds the record for most views on the ISU YouTube channel. That performance at Skate Canada is the most viewed video on the channel (2.8 million views).
- If you don't just take the ISU channel, but also other platforms, Trusova is still the leader. Her Skate Canada 2019 showdown has garnered 35 million views.
- Yuzuru Hanyu, Alexandra Trusova, Nathan Chen and Alena Kostornaya, who has not made it beyond the Grand Prix stages for the past two seasons, were the most popular skaters (according to search queries).

Sorry, but this is extremely unimaginative. This is what people skate to when they can't find something to skate to. I guess the time is ripe for skating to it when you can't skate internationally, but it's still not a great choice.

As it turned out after the skate, Sasha had been injured for a long time and was in "savings mode"

Everything is fine, I'm in a great mood. I enjoyed skating today. I'm not in full mode right now, I have a back injury, I almost didn't skate. I decided to perform for the sake of the fans, so as not to upset them.

Injury? This is a cumulative effect. I didn’t skate for a week and then I skated one workout a day for a week. There will be more training in the future.

If I didn’t have to perform, then I wouldn’t skate in training

Loved Sasha's SP - she hasn't done something like this since Big Spender, and it was fun to see her tackle it. It's test skates, she was nursing an injury and consequently short on training, the programme is obviously not at its best, but she was clearly enjoying it, and given time and healing, I think she'll skate it well.

Edited to add photos from her skate.

Sasha inspires not only skaters, artists, designers, but also musicians! 🎷🎶

“And so, in addition to “In Memoriam”, at the last concert we played "Call me Cruella", which we were inspired by the inimitable Alexandra Trusova.
Unfortunately, Sasha did not show her new free program at the last skates, so let's remember the unforgettable, Olympic Cruella!"

I read she left Eteri and she’s training with Mark’s coach.
Seeing how she’s badly injured now and can’t cope with Eteri’s training, it was a wise decision.
She has nothing to lose anyway and can enjoy skating for the fans more than achieving goals.
I wish her to be happy with a new environment.

Did you know that Sasha is the first and only figure skater in the history of figure skating, including men, to perform two 4Lz in the second half of the program?
