You can calculate it yourself . Correct me where I'm wrong ...

Aleksandra is the one to beat, every skater and coach knows that. Perhaps with a sufficient lead after the SP, and Aleksandra still getting ' junior' PCS, they might risk the chance of Aleksandra messing up her quads in the free skate.

Because this is a big risk for Aleksandra the Quadster. If she is confident with the JO layout of quad quads, one in combination in the bonus zone, and skating cleanly nobody will get even close in FP score.
So the challenge has to be made in the short program, and several older, more experienced skaters are capable of just that.
But like Ted said, Aleksandra is doing her very best to display the same mature, adult skating, so as not to give the judges any reason for deduction, fair or conceived. Which is exactly what Russian experts of late told in their interviews: 'don't give them any reason to deduct. Skate cleanly and your content will be unbeatable.'

Only Dudakov is here with Aleksandra it seems?

Skated her SP, clean.

BTW there was a problem during the travel, russian team has missed the plane from Calgary to Kelowna and arrived late. I've seen only several minutes of training, Sasha looked tired a little. I hope everything will be fine tomorrow.

She still could not resist and tried 4S at the end of the training. It was so high! Although she fell here

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy7jqwkTMv0 for her FS practice. I do think 3 quads is safer though, I haven't seen her do a 4 quad program cleanly (good landings). The 3 quads she did at her challenger were landed very well. Maybe it's safer with 3 (since she doesn't need 4 because who else is doing a quad) for higher GOEs and PCS. Going without falls is going to be important for Sasha this season to build her PCS, as 160 in the FS is something that Alena and Anna have been close to without 4 quads.

Sasha will need more than just good luck, with those clowns (sorry, those very neutral and competent judges). She will be underscored as Ana was. She failed today her 4Lz, but no matter if she lands 3,4 or 5 quads she has been receiving +0.77 GOE for her non Quads elements. So the other skaters are going to kill her with their "artistry" and higher GOE.
Go Sasha!! Tear down everybody into pieces!

She still needs PCS at 5.0 level to win 2nd place. If skating clean, of cause...
