Her performance was incredible and very clean with 2 quads :agree:
I'm pretty happy they removed the 4 Lutz. Some falls on this jump seemed pretty tough this season and it still doesn't look consistent enough for this one.
I wonder what she will do for the world championships. I would prefer that she play security personally. But her courage and risk taking make her being the one we know after all![]()

I still can't get over the thought about how great of the gymnast she possibly would have been, if she picked WAG instead of FS.She's so adorable and fierce at the same time.![]()
What are the boots and blades Trusova uses?
Aleksandra is of slender built, about 150 cms at 40 kgs, all muscle, the ideal height/weight for a girl her age in high level sports that require agility and jumping power.
But she also needs safe and stable landings, tight turns and precise control, and this is provided by her skates.
She skates on traditional blades with the long heel and what seems like the normal 8' rocker, while her probably lighter male companion Samsonov skates on those high tech blades with the triangular supports that are said to provide extra flexibility.
No doubt, given Aleksandra's undisputed status as 'The Quadster' boots and blades manufacturers will be eager to add her to their portfolio of endorsees.

She could have been a star there as well. However, as much as I love (Russian) gymnastics and Sasha I'm so glad Sasha competes in Figure Skating where she can make history - continue to make history, that is. In gymnastics, the current Russian training methods are much more lax than in Figure Skating. Russian gymnasts are known to be beautiful but generally inconsistent, and Russian gymnasts are never the one's who come up with ultra difficult stuff. Everything Sasha is in Figure Skating (an innovater, strong, consistent, powerful) is what the American's are in gymnastics. I fear Sasha's potential could have be wasted in Russian gymnastics. So, in short, Sasha and the sport of Figure Skating belong together.![]()
I hope Irina Viner isn't somewhere around...

Attempting 3A on the floor with obstacles.
Need to do something with that 120 deg UR, but PR is acceptable.

Is this a 3A or an UR 4A? I am hearing mixed reviews
