exactly what i'm thinking. there is no way TT would let her do a show with Plushenko.

however at this time she is slated to do the Tutberidze show too. interesting to say the least.

When Trusova returned to Tutberidze last year, it was reported that she still had obligations to Plushenko - and this applied specifically to participation in ice shows. Yana Rudkovskaya spoke about this, in particular.

But I can also note that the information about the possible participation of Alexandra in this particular show came from Instagram, some fans wrote about it. In other words, the reliability of this information is doubtful.

By the way, Instagram in Russia is likely to be blocked in the coming days.

But how long did she have to do them though, a whole year after? Btw, is it really only 1 year since she returned to TT? It feels so much longer.

Not even one year has passed yet. This happened at the beginning of May 2021. It is difficult to say how long such obligations last. As far as I remember, from that moment on, Plushenko's Angels held only New Year's shows in which Sasha could not participate.
 
Okay there are rumours going around and sources speculating/confirming that Sasha will NOT take part in the Channel 1 Cup. TASS and one of her fan clubs said so. I really hope these aren't true, it will be such a shame if she doesn't go...

the fact that Sasha does not plan to perform at the First Channel Cup was first reported by these same sources quite a long time ago. I do not remember the exact date now, but it was before the start of hostilities in Ukraine. Then it was planned that the competitions would be held in the first days of March, and then the skaters would go to the World Championships.

Thus, if the information is reliable (which there are some doubts about), Trusova for some reason initially did not want to take part in this tournament. Now, of course, any kind of speculation may appear, up to the change of sports citizenship, but I do not think that in this case one should rush to conclusions. It is better to wait these two weeks.

The channel 1 cup I will not watch without Sasha. I also read that she had also said she would not compete at Worlds (before the exclusion) There seems to be something major going down with her, and it is almost like she is on a 'goodbye' tour. Everything posted she seems to be doing 'alone',-practices, appearances etc.
Not to get political-but I wish Sasha and her family would get out of Russia. Now-before it is too late. By May (traditional vacation time)it might be too late. The RusFed will have no leverage to bar her release or the release of any of their skaters. It is either now or go down with the ship.

Her main goal was the olympics. I understand why she would not compete at worlds, she’s not interested in consolation prize.
If she was an olympic champion, she could leave the country for the states.
