I've seen several comments like this, and I'm just curious if these same people who see a picture of a couple and say "Don't care/NOMB" also post the same things like that on FB when others show their kids' prom pictures? It just seems rude to see a pic of a happy couple and sourly respond "DC/NOMB". Then just don't say anything, right, if you can't say something nice? Was just wondering. It just seems like such a sad way to go through life. "Hating" that you saw a pic of a couple? Sad.
@anonymoose_au got it right. I posted "No one's business, if they are happy and want to openly talk about it fine." and since they posted about it I am really happy for them. It's the nosy journalists who get on my nerves. Without naming names, there has been speculation about other skaters' private lives from a few different countries and the creepiest are the comments on social media asking if individual skaters (almost always women) if they seeing anyone. Of course making a nice appreciative comment about their beauty is OK (I have commented myself) as long as it is respectful. Anyway, very happy for Sasha and Mark - what a place to spend a nice holiday!Well it depends...if it's an official post like Mark's that would indeed be a very rude thing to comment.
But if it's just rumour and hearsay not so much, since neither party has officially announced it and it's rude to speculate.
I don't think those comments were directed at Mark and Sasha but at the journalist (?) who reported on the relationship complete with a creepy telephoto lens shot.
In terms of Mark's post though, it's very sweet and they look like they're having a great time in Dubai.![]()
