Is it me, or does it seem like Alina is transitioning away from figure skating into acting? She's doing the Sleeping Beauty show, and I think she is mainly competing now to keep up her name recognition for shows, which she is using to build a resume for acting. She has previously mentioned that she wants to be an actress, and also said she is skating for herself now, as in not being as competitive as she used to be, especially with the arrival of the 3A.
I am not bashing or looking down on her at all, I am just curious if anyone else agrees with me.
