The other day Tarasova was complimenting junior girls from jrNats, saying how amazing they are. And yet again, she couldn’t help but make another dig at Alina.

She was all like “Junior girls are amazing” and she ended it with “It will be sad if they’ll end up like Alina”.... -_-
No freaking words left.
Let it go, Tatiana. Alina won that gold, you were hurt, but it’s time to move on already.

The other thing is, that Alina’s name, regardless on the topic, always drives the biggest traffic to websites. That’s why they make as many articles as possible about her.

I wouldn't be surprised if these trolls feel sort of empowered by TAT and other media loudmouths constant subtle and not so subtle belittlement of Alina and her accomplishments (and by extension Tutberidze's). Could there by some patriotic undertone, as often voiced by that evil creature Rodina, and some latent racism too?

Alina herself, her friends, family, rink mates, trainers, they all know about this, and all of them keep a dignified silence, because they all suffer the same scrutiny of their every gesture, move or word when asked about Alina directly or indirectly when being tricked or lured into spilling something. Even the few young Khrustalniy skaters that were directly asked about their most distinguished rink mate avoided any questions, stating it is not their business to talk about Alina's private affairs.

Despite all this, it must bother Alina that she always has to be on her qui vive, measure her every word, much like Eteri Georgiyevna. It's an advantage, I think therefor, Alina is a reserved person by nature and well supported by stable and rational adults.
 
Regarding the ice shows: will Alina participate in the Art on Ice shows in Taipei? Does anybody know what other shows she will participate in over the summer?

The announcement was made back in November. The show rolls in Taiwan in April, IIRC, but with the coronavirus panic, one cannot be sure it will actually be staged I'd think.
So no reason for Alina not to start training in time for Novovogorsk summer training camp and Open Test Skates, should she decide so.

She skated a beautifully clean Hallelujah this afternoon. It seemed to me that her movements were even more in sync with Bastian's singing. They are getting used to each other's timing.

Still wish she was wearing her Outros exhibition dress for this number, but I agree with Bastian that she looks lovely. :love:

To me, it looks like Alina has a bunch of fun since she announced her competitive career break. Go Alina! You deserve to have all the fun you want!
