Oops...I thought her post was her saying she passed her exams thus graduated high school...I’m sure whatever Alina does it will be great :agree:

She absolved the exam, but the results will be known in friday. But Alina looks happy like after the succefully performed program, she is confident in herself :biggrin:

Ahh thank you for the explanation :)
Alina clearly has high expectations for herself, if she is pleased with how she completed her exams I’m sure she will be pleased with her score when it is released ;)

PyeongChang 2018 figure skating champion Alina Zagitova seems to have a new challenge in life: university.

The 18-year-old appears to have passed Russia's Unified State Exam, a requirement for students hoping to enter university in the country.

Zagitova posted a photo of herself holding a Russian passport and pens, with a book emoji, to her Instagram stories. It was later re-posted by a fan account on Instagram with the caption "it looks like a pass".

About a month after Worlds. Immediately after the Worlds Alina becae a part of the ice show (now I can't remember which one) and this happened when she was on her way home.

I think it might have happened on her flight home from Worlds that ended up getting delayed and re-routed through Paris (!) and finally ended up landing in Moscow (after many delays) at like 4 or 5 in the morning. Team Zagitova waited all night with flowers and balloons. Even most of the media gave up and left but TZ stayed and waited. Alina got off the plane looking like a million dollars after flying for hours from Japan to France to Moscow. It was heart warming to see her welcomed like that by her fans at a mostly deserted airport. Fortunately at least one media outlet was there and reported on it. This is my absolute favorite Team Zagitova story.

At the time I was a tiny bit miffed that there was no official welcome for the new World Champion. Not even from Sambo70. (Seriously, Layshev? Drag your butt out of bed and show up with a bouquet!) But honestly it was better the way it was. Just Alina, her mom and her fans making a memory.

So Alina is the main contributor for keeping 3 spots for Russia for three seasons in the row now. Nice team contribution Alina.
