Well if I thought nothing could be worse than YouTube english auto generated subs on Russian speaking videos I was seriously wrong. Reading Google translated Korean articles is an exercise in dealing the the abstract. Hard to make out what is being said. Come Google, get your act together on other world languages, we need you (more than I would like to in fact).
http://www.spotvnews.co.kr/?mod=news&act=articleView&idxno=208468 so from this lovely piece I get that Alina will probably perform her EX number, besides being on the group numbers, she talks about growing 5cm, mentions that this didn't happen overnight, that it indeed interfered with her jumps but she is confident that she and her coaches will be able to solve this and work around it. Sounded like future tense solve it but with Google who knows. I can say that from watching her EX during this Ice Show season, she has 4 jumps in it (1st one is a combo), that she's been pretty consistent with all of them throughout all this. Only on SOI Yokohama filming did she get stuck on the second jump of the combo but that was no biggie.
And now I'm curious and want to know if any of the more savvy peeps here can enlighten me on something: from another Korean news piece I got that the reason she and Zhenya didn't give out the interview at the airport was that all their interviews have to be okayed with the Russian Figure Skating Federation first (they have to release them to do it) and the news people forgot to do this for this particular interview. So, in their case, the Russian Figure Skating Fed acts like an agent? Do they book them on Ice Shows too (like agents do for others)? Does someone from them also travels with them (like some agents travel with their clients to handle things locally)?
