When is her next competition? I was really nervous for her when she was looking so devastated after her SP. I was so worried she will crumble in the FS but nope she took the challenge and delivered. Even skating after Wakaba! Now im excited for her to go head to head against the other top ladies

That was so AMAZING. She truly is incredible. I will watch that FS many many times.

By the way, her FS TES was 2nd highest of any lady, only Zhenia has scored better. Her total score and FS score was 4th highest. Pretty good senior debut I would say.

She will score really really high once her PCS scores becomes higher.

Next competition for Alina planned Japan Open (October 7th) - tournament with only free programs, but also with Evgenia.

I used to bash Alina for a whole year but today she convinced me. In comparision to Liza she skated very light and effortlessly. Even her presentation was sweet and charming. And I have to give her credit for what she does in the second half. That Lutz-Loop combo was the best I have ever seen.

The way the music is put together the backloading works perfectly for my taste because the program builds towards the very end with the final fireworks of triples. Definitely a standing ovation program.

"That's a stupid fall on double Axel... People almost beg us to change the entry to the jump, but in training, she makes 98 out of 100 attempts. For me, it was very unexpected when she felt on the axel here in Italy. In general, it was just an accident. Perhaps nerves were the reason because it's her first start.
