Alina Zagitova

You are so clever. Thanks for the translation.
Не хочется вас корректировать со своими скромными познаниями в Англ. языке, но у вас тут ошибка в переводе (опечатка):
" You thin “Yes! We did it”, but excitement, even if "

penultimate bit (got tired, will finish tomorrow!)

Q. What have you seen in Milan?
A. I have already been in Milan at Lombardia Trophy. But that time Daniil Markovich and I went to the centre and only walked by Duomo, without entering. But this time Eteri Georgievna and I queued all the way, entered inside. It was so quiet there. And you know, my heart calmed down. Then we went shopping, I bought facial masks, and calmed down completely.
I am glad that she got over Worlds and that her team helped her! She talks about it in a mature way and has a realistic view of competitive sports! I really hope she gets her World title this season, she will surely work hard for it, can't wait to see.

Egoshina, thank you for the great translation of this very interesting and quite personal interview! I would be even more thankful if you post here the link with the original text, could you do this? It would be great!

Meanwhile I came across an English article that is actually the final part of this long interview and the last two questions have not been translated by egoshina (yet?) The link is http://fs-gossips.com/alina-zagitov...emain-in-sport-you-can-learn-a-lot-from-them/
Whom do you see yourself in 10 years from now? What would you like to do?

– I don’t like to guess forward. But I would like to open a Japanese restaurant in Moscow. Unusual. Not just a place where you can eat, but a “small corner of Japan”, where people will come and feel a special atmosphere, calmness. I was in Japan, and I really liked people, food, the friendliness of the Japanese.

What is your main goal in life?

– To find an interesting occupation that would make work fun, not a routine. Of course, I want to have a family. But I’m only 16 years old, so while I don’t seriously think about it.
If we think of the way she got Masaru - she gave an interview and said that she likes Akita dogs - and 3 months later the Japanese prime minister gives her Masaru... well, now I really think it's possible that one year from now we will be commenting on videos of Alina opening her own Japanese restaurant in Moscow with the help of some super famous Sushi masters :D

There are already lot of speculations about Nathan and Alina - like there is something between them now. They exchanged their caps and Nathan hold her by waist rather familiar :noshake: :sarcasm:
https://www.instagram.com/nathan_x_alina/ All the shippers are gathered here
I think they just found out their pesonalities are well compatible and they enjoy spending more time together than with other skaters. And they have things in common - they both are unfairly critisized for being technical 'robots', he had the Olympic meltdown and 5th place, she had the Worlds meltdown and 5th place, they both have dogs, they both are teenagers... I really hope Alina becomes more confident with English! And Nathan seems very nice, and intelligent. I love these shows because of the interaction between skaters, especially from different disciplines.
And even if there is something between them, well, why not. Javier Fernandez and Miki Ando were dating for a long time and had competitions and ice shows that prevented them from being always together but they seemed to be happy nevertheless.

I saw in another thread that the ladies final in "The Ice" jumping competition will be Alina vs Gabby. :yes2:

Article in Bloomberg: "A 146-Year-Old Cosmetics Firm Gets Makeover to Woo Gen Y Buyers"
I will include here just several quotes:
....
To attract more coveted consumers in their 20s and 30s, the company is overhauling its entire Shiseido makeup line and discontinuing almost 100 products. It’s being replaced with a new collection in September that marries popular Western trends such as bolder colors and matte cosmetics with Japanese flair for minimalist design and packaging that appeals to a younger crowd drawn to Asian beauty brands.
....
"What’s important is we can recruit new users to the Shiseido brand,” said Chief Executive Officer Masahiko Uotani in an interview Wednesday. "We can now get into this new segment of younger consumers who are going to become long-term users for us."
...
Alina Zagitova will be the new face of Shiseido in marketing campaigns later this year.

Unfortunately all videos are in Japanese and Alina responds in Russian but I think we can understand what are they talking about :):)

 I like your thoughts.

I've learned enough from Gordon Ramsay and Eteri Tutberidze that you can't do both  but she can always outsource, and take it as excuse to eat lots of downpriced sushi with the students

Is anyone going to Japan Open? I'm not. But I'm just curious if anyone else is.

I personally don't like it... it's too fragmented and incoeherent, besides the fact that she has to work further because the steps looked bad, but that's understantable at this time of the year.
I like the first part which I already saw it before and looked really promising, but then the vocals and the third part in a program which lasts less then 3 min? I think it's too much.

I don't know... I'm not convinced by the second part, it misses some pathos, "the music of the night" is wasted at the end with only a spin, though I loved the ina bauer
