I think they just found out their pesonalities are well compatible and they enjoy spending more time together than with other skaters. And they have things in common - they both are unfairly critisized for being technical 'robots', he had the Olympic meltdown and 5th place, she had the Worlds meltdown and 5th place, they both have dogs, they both are teenagers... I really hope Alina becomes more confident with English! And Nathan seems very nice, and intelligent. I love these shows because of the interaction between skaters, especially from different disciplines.
And even if there is something between them, well, why not. Javier Fernandez and Miki Ando were dating for a long time and had competitions and ice shows that prevented them from being always together but they seemed to be happy nevertheless.

I've learned enough from Gordon Ramsay and Eteri Tutberidze that you can't do both :laugh: but she can always outsource, and take it as excuse to eat lots of downpriced sushi with the students
 
Is anyone going to Japan Open? I'm not. But I'm just curious if anyone else is.
 
I personally don't like it... it's too fragmented and incoeherent, besides the fact that she has to work further because the steps looked bad, but that's understantable at this time of the year.
I like the first part which I already saw it before and looked really promising, but then the vocals and the third part in a program which lasts less then 3 min? I think it's too much.
 
I don't know... I'm not convinced by the second part, it misses some pathos, "the music of the night" is wasted at the end with only a spin, though I loved the ina bauer :think:
