I'm in awe.

Yesterday, I was so worried that something was wrong with her, an injury might be distressing her, that she might not be able to jump in the gala....but here she is again with her smile, spreading her warm heart to the people around her, appreciating the love she receives and pulling herself after that tough skate even faster than I did. Now I'm relieved. And guess what. The first perfectly clean Lara Croft of the season. (i think it is...) That tells me everything I need to know about how mentally firm she is and how much she loves skating. Resilience is the key word here.

Someone called her a Warrior here, and I think it captures out girl's spirit very aptly.

It was pretty standard for the start of a live video: close-up, portrait view of Alina's smiling face I think she was waiting for the audience to grow a bit (it did! Easily amassed over 2000 people while I watched). Then it suddenly it cut out

Alina is always so gracious. Gracious in victory. Gracious in disappointment. Gracious with her multitude of supporters, the spectators, the little child admirers. Gracious with her pets, her sponsors, in her day-to-day life.
