Alina Zagitova

It was because they had arrived at that small medal ceremony with only one jacket between them (Stasya's presumably). Perhaps they were not expecting the medal ceremony at that moment. So they had to double up with just one jacket when actually being "crowned". (Or triple up, perhaps, by the look of things, see Sofia too, in tartan check.)

Makes sense.

Team Zagitova retweeted this on twitter and I love it!

"Masaru means victory, Alina is taking her victory to Japan. Thanks for coming to my TED talk."

:laugh:

It was really touching to see tears in Alina's eyes during the national anthem at the victory ceremony. I wonder what thoughts were flashing through her mind...

I just can't express in words what I felt when I watched that part...I just..can't :sad21::sad21::sad21:

Alina's tender heart and the way full of dignity in which she behaves in both win and defeat fills my heart with love and admiration for her. I want so much to hear this anthem played for her at Worlds...

Scroll through the end of the pictures and you can see the moment Alina puts Stasia's jacket on, the why of it I have no idea.

Correlated with Alina's reaction when she listened her country's anthem, maybe she just wanted to wear team Russia jacket? I think this kind of things really matter to her...

I cannot wait to see Alina skate at the Gala. I'm ready for 'Survivor'.

Yes!!! Same here! :love: This program is the perfect ending of this EC.:love:
