Alina with the smile on her face basically ripping the jacket in slowmotion was worth it, this ex was so symbolic - just like in her season, she had struggles, she fell, but she got up and kept fighting. I am gonna miss Lara Croft :(

She was always getting love from Eteri, we just don’t see it often on camera, for example Russian commentators said that after this FS (while they were showing replay for the viewers) Eteri went and gave Alina another very very sweet hug.

The closing banquet is today, it started 2 hours after the Gala. Hoping for some goodies from there :pray:

This performance of Survivor was exacly like a testimony for Alina's entire season. Many difficulties appeared, some things did not work out, but she continued to fight, did not give up, and in the end her dream came true and she is the Champion of the World, now. A true Survivor! :pray:

And the way our girl went back at the end of the gala, and performed a perfect 3Lz, shows once again how determined and motivated she is. The mindset that helped her earn the Olympic title last season, and the World title here :luv17::

Random fun fact - Herma Szabo, the first ladies skater to become a World Champion after becoming an Olympic Champion, also became a World Champion in Pairs! As you do.

I hope so, but the change on television looking at the K&C + when Alina gets off the ice is obvious. There isn't any point in denying it IMO.
