That entry's ridiculous but I really like it when skaters push their limits during the olympic season rather than staying safe and within their comfort zone(Too many to name...).

I'm really looking forward to her performance as well! Actually, her GP debut might be the one thing I'm looking forward to the most for the entire GP circuit!
 
Any news? I think she and Daniil should already be in China by now...

He is not the main coach. In fact, he is the choreographer for most of them (Aberbukh does Zhenya) They have multiple people on the team including Eteri (main coach obviously) Sergey Dudakov (Eteri's assistant) Daniil Gleikhengauz (said Daniil, choreographer) and most recently Sergey Rosanov, who accompanied Polina and Sasha to Sochi this past weekend.

They are the team. But the main coach is Eteri.
tbh I think, Alina more used to travel with Danill than with Eteri. Danill travels a lot with juniors).
I think Eteri will be with Evgenia and Polina in Japan.
 
Hmm I wonder why Eteri will probably not go with Alina. Personally, I feel like she should go just to show her support for Alina.
 
She will probably have to leave with Polina and Evgenia right when they're coming back, to get them used to the time difference. I think it's more a logistical thing than an affection/support thing.
 
I'm kind of wondering if Alina receives less support from Eteri.. It seems as though Evgenia is Eteri's firm favourite and maybe she doesn't want Alina to beat her? 🤔

Alina feels very comfortable with Daniil. I don't think it's a problem.
And Eteri probably has to stay with Evgenia and Polina.

I have the same impression. She is used to travel to competitions with Daniil and I think she is very comfortable with that.
Eteri cannot go to all her students' events. It's practical impossible. And I don't think Eteri's presence at the competitions would change anything.
 
New fan popping in. I became hooked on alina ever since i saw her last season FS. i hope she gets gold at the olympics. 😊
 
Fourth place might not look good, but she's only a point away from the lead so it's not that bad. I'm confident that with a clean free she can win this.
 
I wasnt expecting her to fall :( but 69 with a fall is really good. She'd be at least 71+ without it. Its good to get the falls away in the beginning of the season and maybe she'll have less pressure tomorrow. I hope she skates clean and wins, she really can do it.
