I am devastated. I really wanted to see her skate clean but at least it’s a virtual tie at the top so she can still win. Better to shake off the nerves early in the season. I am glad she’s changed the entry into the 2A. Her 3Lz-3Lo has been so so steady I’m still in shock.

I don't think any of the ladies managed to put enough distance between their scores for them to stave off Zags in the free. Her BV is too insane.

I wasnt expecting her to fall but 69 with a fall is really good. She'd be at least 71+ without it. Its good to get the falls away in the beginning of the season and maybe she'll have less pressure tomorrow. I hope she skates clean and wins, she really can do it.

so she can get Goe +1-1,5 for her clean 3lz3lo. so it would be 74,03. And with a clean sp better pcs 32+

She should win too. She seems to be better in the FS than the SP, probably familiarity.

I found it surprisingly enjoyable overall. I really like the SP as a whole and I hope that she can deliver a clean run of it down the road. I also wish for success for her FS. You can definitely see some Medvedeva in her skating but she importantly still has her own flavor and isn't quite as over-the-top. Hopefully she'll be able to have a streak of clean runs in order to build up her confidence and perhaps have some slightly more relieved and involved expression.

I still hope that she can win by skating a clean FS. And even if it's not clean, her 3Lo combos are gorgeous so I want her to land at least that.

yeah I'm expecting her to amaze us and skate really well tomorrow. No one can beat her if she does. I just watched her SP again and I have to say her program is my favourite of the currently competing black swan programs. I love how the music intensifies when she goes for the jumps and her starting pose is really nice. Her triple flip was amazing too.

Zagitova is growing on me, but she has to lose the TUTU dresses. it's way too juniorish, and out of place for the olympics. I hope she loses them asap.

Alinaaaaa! I just knew she could do it! So, so happy for her. She was amazing. aand of course people are complaining about her PCS score.. I guess thats what happens when a skater is clearly the best. Anyway, I hope Alina wins the GP in France and we'll then get a showdown between her and Zhenya in GPF!
