Alina Zagitova

Absolutely! The same thoughts, as many of us.
Regarding Alina's photo. Yes, perhaps it's kind of inappropriate. But really, what you think, that 15-years old girls (and boys) are innocent? Don't make me laugh! Many teenagers starting sexual life in nearly that age. "Everybody be cool. You be cool"
I generally agree about people making too big a deal of relatively minor things. But the thing is, it's not really that. If it was just her in that outfit - Whatever. I'm sure a bikini would be more revealing which would be as expected at a beach or whatever. But having a kind of an official portrayal where the purpose seems to be men ripping her clothes off her is too much for even me.

not only that, but also knowing what kind of "brand"(company) stays behind that...

P.S. the only kind of face you can have while wearing this uniform

I honestly admit that I felt embarrassed when I saw the picture. The concept of the pic is very, very cheap, I have to say. And the public should react to this sort of things, not to accept everything that it is artificially promoted in media. Sexualisation of everything is not the key to success to be clear.
It's not healthy for an athlete to build up this sort of cheap image and neither for a child/teenager to make this kind of pictures. The parents or the manager (if she has one) shouldn't have agreed on this, although probably there is an important sum of money in the middle.

The difference is that you have here 2 adult guys, adult photographer and... 15 year old girl. Don't you think it may be difficult for a 15-year-old girl to suddenly say "NO" when photos are becoming bit to spicy? And even if she liked the photoset she is still underaged and cannot be taken for granted, especially with such a delicate issue. From her interviews, instagram streams it's clearly visible that she not always speaks like an adult, and has childish moments as well- because she is still psychically a 15-year-old kid! No matter how grown up she looks. That's why adults should take care of her. And I really have the feeling situation was quite opposite there.

I don't think she went on her own to the photo shooting. Probably someone from the family was there with her.... Anyway, terrible photo :(. It's a disappointment. I mean beautiful girl who likes boys and boys like her (very common and cheap) or boys like each other because they look at each other more lol.... horrible, anyway. I'm worried about her future and her values....

Wow... It's because of thoughts like that one that pictures like this are made.
It doesn't matter what "many teenagers" are doing. It doesn't matter what Alina might think or do in her PRIVATE life as a teenage girl. This is supposed to be a professional set-up, with professional results, with professional treatment. She's a top athlete and should've been treated as such, not as a sexualized object.
I find the photo very scandalous. It is obvious the intention behind it. I don't think it is ever okay to put a young girl in a swimsuit between two older men pulling her clothes. Wth is the message behind that????? It does not look fun or healthy. It looks bizarre.
Call me traditional, whatever. I think Alina deserved better.

15 year old Alina doesn't need to be a tug of war between two older models, most likely in their 20s.

Her outfit doesn't bother me but the context does. If she was just in the outfit by herself looking strong and confident, the message would be better.

But has really any buzz started? I think this unfortunate Vogue issue has not even been published yet...
Yes, it wasn't published yet, only on internet, maybe, there were some negative comments regarding the photo not herself, of course.

I find the Vogue photo both creep and funny... I hope she shrugs and laughs off people's reactions to it and just focuses on doing her best. It's really not that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.

Thinking about how Zagitova is skating against Kostner who is going to her 4th Olympics who skated against Slutskaya who went to 3 Olympics... if I had to bet on a Russian woman's skater to be competitive for 3-4 Olympic cycles(through 2030... maybe even 2034) I would bet on Zagitova.
