OMG she does not even have a bed. She is sleeping on a low end sofa that fold to a bed. That she shared it with little sister. Very small apartment, grandmother, father, mother, little sister, her and cat + 2 chinchilla. with so much soft toys, no space at all. So sad, a tear come out of my eyes when i saw that.
And it is -19C outside.

talk about the world. who is going there? i never been to any figure skating event before, only watch on tv. i have vacation during the world. i wanted to visit other event, but due to work, never have time. I hope Alina wins the worlds, that means she wins every competition during her senior year. that is grand slam ! they should make a new trophy just for her.

Well, it was really difficult to hear clearly. There definitely were some missed words which I couldn't hear. But I suspect it is specific Eteri's sense of humour at fault here - which many people takes at face value. It's rather typical joke of strict coaches to presumably prevent their pupils from becoming too conceited due to own's achievements and therefore too easygoing.

There are only two possiblities:
- it was an inside joke between Alina and Eteri (might have been pretty funny actually),
- it was disgusting interruption of small happy moment of hard-working young girl.
Maybe some Russian speaker, who watched it in better quality would be able to tell how it was.

Seriously? This is less believable than the rumor (already shot down) about Zhenya leaving Eteri. I wonder if anyone even bothers responding to this one? Ok, trashy Russian tabloid media, you tried.
Lol I was waiting for the rubbish tabloids to start pushing that rumour since they started following each others instagrams and posed for pictures together. Ignoring the lack of validity of such reports, Kirill should be focused on the KHL playoffs and Alina training for worlds there is no need for extra distractions like this for either of them right now.

but my comment with congradulations about Alina's olympic gold is still there, may be the moderator gave up?
It is like a 5 minute walk from her apartment to the ice rink she trains at. There are nicer apartments in that nearby area, maybe soon she can upgrade with the 4,000,000 rubles (about $70,000) she earned for winning the gold medal.

Neither. It's obvious Eteri was just trying to make her not to think a lot about it. Eteri already went through similar situation with Lipnitskaya, so it's understandable why she does that now.
