I would think so because Japan seems to really respect protocol and the PM doing the presentation alone would seem very self-serving.

Yeah, saw that, clean up day I guess, nothing major. Now she finally has the time to go over all she posted since she is on vacation.

This is not a step in the right direction. :noshake: I am going to need Alina to be a lot more active on IG when Masaru gets here. Like, A LOT!

Yeah, I don't like to think that she is more aware of possible reverberations to what she posted, and is somehow self-policing. There was nothing on her instagram account to being with. But becoming more public also means becoming less spontaneous.

I'm glad that, on the other hand, she is finding ways to do Instagram Lives on a level that leaves her comfortable. Those were loads of fun and she appeared to enjoy them, if she can get back into it and have fun and not feel awkward I will be very happy for her.

You are right. I respect that she wants to keep aspects of her life more private and have some control over what the public has access to. She is doing whats right for her. I will be a respectful fan and pout quietly. :gaah:

Unfortunately my "powers" don't extend to winning the lottery :shrug:

My lottery numbers will only come up on 2 occassions....
1) the day I forget to play the lottery
2) when I have passed to the "great beyond"


As far as the PM Abe rumor - I had seen a random tweet maybe a month ago (?) from I think it was a professor at a Japanese university whose specialty is Russian-Japanese relations. This thread has grown so much that I wouldn't even know how to find it again!

I am so glad it is more than a rumor. This is such a huge deal for Alina! What an amazing opportunity for her. Meeting a foreign leader!!!! And he is coming to see her.:clapper:

(I hope that PM Abe hasn't looked to see what videos Alina "liked" on Instagram!!!!) :rofl:


As I posted before, I certainly hope that the people from the town that are giving her Masaru do not get pushed to the background.

They should be there front and center - because it has always been between Alina and the townspeople. Not a PR opportunity for politicians!

:laugh2: Sabina just reminded me of my 7 year old, playing Trivial Pursuit, who when asked "Where is Costa Del Sol?" answered Australia. I nearly threw that kid back right then and there. At least they are near the Gulf of Mexico, and Mexico has a Pacific Ocean coast too. :rofl:
