Alina Zagitova

I think it's the angle -- it's taken sort of "from the bottom" looking up at Alina and that makes her seem taller

No! This mean that merciless Eteri use STRAPPADO to improve flexibility of students!!!
Korean Girl Who Cannot Be Named started making another video.

She sure does behave like one though she writes in Korean on her videos

I’m not sure why he/she does that either. But his/her Korean is all wrong like they stick the words through a poor translator. Lol

That's super nice!!! Thank you for all the pictures. Alina looks happy and beautiful as always.

End of July (28th is the first one) and up until early August (5th is the last one), she has The Ice in Japan. I wonder if we will see any of her new programs featured on the show? She'll do her Free Skate on Japan Open for sure in October, maybe use her SP as EX on Carnival on Ice (the Ice show connected with the event).

In between them we have test skates in September, where she'll do her FS and SP.

Oh my god! I just wrote something exactly like this hahah and then I saw your post. So I will put it here:

Since I miss Alina and this lack of content is driving me crazy, I was thinking about the schedule of big events coming up and that are announced so far: (before the gp series)
That Festival That Was Postponed: July 21, Moscow, Russia
The Ice: July 28-29, Osaka, Japan; Aug. 4-5, Aichi, Japan
Open Skates: September 8-9, Moscow, Russia
Japan Open/Carnival on Ice: October 6.
Am I right or totally forgetting something?
(I still think she will do some Challenger Series like Lombardia Trophy last year.)
(And there’s still no info about THE ICE broadcast. The only I saw was on soyouwantttowatchfs tumblr. They say it will be broadcast on Sept. 1 at 00:00 JST, BS Nittele (Aichi).
I will die if we will have to wait until September to watch the show)

[emoji1319][emoji1319][emoji1319] I think you covered it all, your list has all that’s been announced so far.

About The Ice’s broadcast I have the same date, it’s not unusual for them to record and then air it way later. But maybe we will get something live or a few days after. Depends on their strategy.

Sad bit is: the Japanese are great people and follow the rules to the cross on the T so I’ve almost never see videos recorded by the public inside the arena. It is very rare to see something. I can only hope some of the skaters record videos and post them to their Instagram accounts.

That "Korean" girl is Canadian (highly likely). The only language she/he knows relatively good is English. She/he has a soft spot to Canadian skaters (Osmond, V/M, Jamie Salé and David Pelletier).

Same here...at least time is slowly but surely passing by and we have a little more than 3 weeks until The Ice (yes I'm counting the days, and waiting for 28th of July, when at least we'll have a little hope to see Alinka skating again). Thanks for this list, I'll keep it as a To Do list for this next months :agree: (beside spending time here with you on GS and expressing both sadness and impatience )

@oro1_ (from Japan) on Twitter said that Alina will be debuting her POTO SP at The Ice show. I think is the real deal because there’s 262 retweet’s and 367 likes and everybody started to be excited about it there. If this is true, I cannot wait until September to watch it! The Ice must be broadcast live or a couple of days letter, please.

I have to say I’m super impressed with the facilities there.

Here is the original pic, little girl’s name is Sophie https://www.instagram.com/p/Bk2bB5gjJwZ/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=1w8wg46m9eg8i

Well, Novogorsk is large facility not only for russian athletes, but foreign teams from different sport branches train there too. E. g. our czech rhytnic gymnasts train there for about a month every year.
