Alina Zagitova

I saw a tweet note for July 29.18 (the third show), where the viewer writes about the fall from lz3. It's true?

And if it was true, is there a problem? Skaters fall all the time, nobody has a 100% sucess rate of landing a jump. I don‘t think one fall is a reason to worry. Alina is fine. :)

The only info I coud find is this: https://twitter.com/___asminty___/status/1023492715546259457 It says it was beautiful...without any info about the jumps. Let's wait and see :biggrin:

Alarm TV July 30, 2018 (Mon) 4:55:00 ~ 8:00PM Broadcast Content ▼ Alina Zagitova & Uno ...- Hm, I wonder if it's true? Will it really be a broadcast tomorrow?:pray:

Alina just did a live video, on the roof of the hotel. Beautiful view. With Aliev, Nathan and Marin, could hear Marin chatting away in great English.

And here is the video of the live.... it is in full.

Alina talked about the typhoon, answered some questions, if anyone understands Russian please tell us what she talked about in full.

At the end we have Nathan, Aliev and Mariah Bell (can't see her but can hear her). I have to say, probably because it is the only thing I understand, I laughed hard at Nathan and Mariah talking about Ralph.

Edit to add: I'm so happy to see Alina having a great time and hanging out with other skaters, they are the youngest crowd among the cast so it's easy to see why they all connected so well.

Eddit to add: Madison gave me the right info it was Mariah Bell and not Marin

Once again the Japanese come through with great coverage of figure skating.
Now I have seen I think 3 networks that are going to broadcast "The Ice".

Other than the occasional holiday figure skating special, there is nothing broadcast in the USA for ice shows.

As a matter of fact, Japan has more coverage of ice shows than the USA does for competitive skating.

With my very very limited understanding she was just chatting, like "I like it here in Osaka", "it's really nice view from here", "I want to share it with you", "it's half past nine at the evening" etc. She also said on what floor she is accomodated (I won't reveal ) and just now she is on (I believe) 55th floor. About the typhoon I believe she said it was yesterday's night and it was so strong that she couldn't sleep and that it was like an earthquake. But here I really understand only a little so maybe I'm not completely correct.

55th floor! Yikes - she must have been seasick from the building swaying in the storm.

In any of the video clips and photos I have seen of Alina at The Ice, she looks lovely and looks like she is having a great time. Is it my imagination, or does she seem a little bit taller? Enjoyed seeing that little "teaser" where we got to see just a tiny bit of her new program! I would imagine that is not her new costume. Many times the new costumes are not ready so early. That blue is a nice color for her, but the top didn't seem to fit her quite right.

Anyway, she is a joy to watch, and of course I love the clips where she is skating with Shoma! Great idea to have the Olympic medalists skate together.

I was happy to see her skating with Shoma again. I think they complement each other very nicely on the ice.

It seems like it was just yesterday when Alina & Shoma were holding Akita t-shirts during an interview for Stars On Ice.

Everyone enjoyed their skating. Here is a little bit of Alina in this clip. Definitely like that color blue on her but wonder what the "for real" costume will be.

Damn it. The video has been deleted.
What I can recall from memory: Alina spoke about Osaka (she liked it), about the view from the 55th floor of the building that she thought was among the biggest in the city. She also told a story about typhoon at night and japanese earthquake-proof buldings that can wave and withstand earthquake with minimum damage. She lived on a quite high floor in that kind of building and in the night the building waved and the window frames squeaked very loud so she couldn't sleep. She was very scared by the whole thing but local people said it wasn't a big deal. Then Dima said "Dobroye utro" - Good Morning in russian. Nathan said it as well, mentioned that this only phrase in russian he knows and the rest of convesation was in english.

Thank you both for helping to translate Alina's words.
