Alina Zagitova

Right? She acts so classy and elegant, she's confident and poised. Her development is impressive...she was always a well-mannered girl, but seeing now the Shiseido videos I am stunned :jaw:...
Btw..congratulations Alinka, it's no wonder they chose Alinka because she's such a beautiful young lady :luv17:

beautiful on the outside - and even more importanly, beautiful on the inside. :)

Alina is so simply gorgeous and fresh even so early in the morning!!
She said that she misses Masaru already and cant wait to come back in Moscow to be with her. Also she said that they had decided on the music of POTO together and the coaches suggested the music and she agreed since it's an image she never tried before! Also as many suspected the make up and, I believe, the hair in the Ice were done by the Shiseido make up artist.

Also here you can see her with the camera. I wonder if it's one of her new hobbies! 😍

Just when you think she can't get any more beautiful....

I love that dress. She looks like a goddess.

Sorry I never answered to those of you who asked where I saw the grandma. But I saw someone posted link to twitter with skaters' insta stories and that's where I saw her as well! On the first day they were exploring Kyoto. I think every time I saw her she was with Raf and it's understandable. Interesting there was a Russian interview posted yesterday where Alina said that the grandma's first trip abroad was with her to Japan this year! I actually thought she had started to accompany her way earlier during junior competitions. Or it was always just the coaches or mom? .. and unfurtunately they had to give away the chinchillas according to that interview though it was very hard for them. But at least they were given to the friends.
And Alina's favorite subject in school is algebra 😓😓😓

Sad about the chinchillas but honestly it is for the best. Some dogs have a strong prey drive and chinchillas look lot like prey. Better safe than sorry.

Yes, I think we all saw how Masaru was so interested in them ... Maybe if they had bigger accommodation it would be easier to separate Masaru and the chinchillas. Hopefully Alina will able to get them back in the future.

Has this been posted yet? it has english subtitles https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpnI5DudXdQ

She says figure skating is her life
Also she does not want to become arrogant because she's won the gold at the olympics and she wants to keep working diligently like the seasons before and strive for her goals.
She will be strict with herself

She always talks so calmly like a middle-aged lady with so much wisdom :luv17:

Thanks to you and flanker for posting links to the subtitled videos! Luuuurve them!

She is truly so genuine and unpretentious, and SO cute. Brought a smile to my face when she so honestly said "sometimes the knees ache" when sitting in the Japanese pose.

Happy that she still has some of the goofiness, like how she pretended to "call" the statute Akita dog over. Reminds me a little of her much goofier periscope days, which I really miss.

Thanks for the info on the Russian interview!

I also recall that Grandma was with Alina when she went to Japan earlier this year for that TV show (the one with the hilarious games) - think there was a youtube video on their airport arrival.

Sad to hear abt the chinchillas - poor things but I guess it is probably for their own safety.

That condition she has (Osgood-Schlatter) would definitely make kneeling like that painful.

Loved when she called out "Masaru" to the statue - I think that she will always keep the playful side of her personality.

:agree: for Alina's grandmother and Rafael Arutunian (now I just have to find some pictures....)

:hap10: for Alina's favorite subject being Algebra.

:( for the chinchillas - but it is for the best, and I'm sure that Alina still visits them since they are with friends.

I think that her grandma stayed with the interpreter not with Raf. At least in the videos i saw, that was the case.

Yes it could be the interprener. If so, sorry for misinformation. They both had blue shirts on at some point and I could mistaken them.

Hi guys, I have been a lurker in this thread for some time now, and Alina's fan for much longer. :) There is an article in Russian from "FS World" magazine (look at the last teamzagitova post on IG, I can't post a link as it's my first post). Would you like me to translate it to English? I found it interesting.
