One of the guests was George R. R. Martin, whom you probably know as an author of A Song of Ice and Fire.
Wow that's so awesome
Congrats from a huge fan of his books and of GoT :luv17:Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

Congrats from a huge fan of his books and of GoT :luv17:Another interesting perspective of the program, at least to me. It feels short, the time is passing by quickly. I left with the impression, "oh no I wanted more". I watched it like what, ten times, I never found myself scrolling the youtube bar further down. Which I do a lot of times, just to go to a moment I like to watch the most , in many other programs.

You’ve met George R.R. Martin !?! Consider me super impressed. I’m a huge fan of his.
And he is right too, sadly not many Americans learn a foreign language, getting by in English alone probably plays a large part in this.
Languages are like chocolate to me, the more the merrier, speaking more than one is a huge asset. I’m happy to see Alina is interested in learning a new one, maybe even more than one, that would be super cool.
topic: Unfortunately I can't say much about this meeting, it is so long ago (just that he wasn't so fat that time
), but because of this meeting I started to read ASOIAF. I didn't know Martin till that time (although retroactively I found out that some TV series episodes I already knew were written by him or inspired by his stories, like The Outer Limits).Unfortuantely, the internet and social media really brings out the wackiness in some people.
I don't consider people like this to be real fans --- they are just obsessed with some sort of "ALT-reality" bouncing around in their heads.
That is one reason I am glad that Alina doesn't post a lot of things on her instagram.
I hope that trend continues - even as she gets more famous.
What is she saying here?![]()
Not sure how accurate this is, but I tried to translate the Japanese subtitle and it says "So slowly"

And to tell a secret, he inspired me in one more thing, I started to write, too. It wasn't my idea orginally. We have czech fan forum of ASOIAF and several years ago we started fan-fiction stories competitions. At first I took it just as fun, but very soon I found pleasure in that. I wrote first story, which had surprisingly good success among other fans so I decided to write five more consecutive short stories (well, short, some of them had more than 90 pages). But fan-fiction soon wasn't enough for me (and, after all, you are in someone other's garden, even when I tried to write as independent story as possible), so I started to create my own fantasy world. So far I've written several short stories just for my friends, but now I'm writing something big (I'm still hesitating to call it novel) and I've already written more than 800 pages (now it's nearly 3 years of work - thinking, writing, corrections). I'm finishing (I estimate about 100 pages more) and after that I will probably have to collect a courage to adress a publisher... (Some friends who read parts of it and helped me so far with their opinions, advices etc. are encouraging me, that it is good, but those are friends
).
Here’s a bit of the Alina vs Shoma jumping competition

She did try to 3Lo him out of the water (I counted 5 good ones)

This x 1,000,000,000Alina skates so beautifully here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7gtcqlJerSY and shows off her lines and extensions next to someone like Satoko who is known for them. It makes her POTO choreo so much more unfortunate in comparison, because she can skate softly and beautifully, which is what I hoped POTO would have showcased. But alas...
