Yeah I do not think they try to be mean. They certainly enjoy her skating and often say that she is a great skater. Even the German Eurosport commentators praised her, said she must have had a blackout during her combo because it seemed so unlike her and praised her still after the skate saying she has such an amazing presence and no one is like her in their opinion. It was so funny the British commentators were shocked at the high PC score while the German ones predicted that she will get high PCs and will take the lead even before the scores came up

She popped jumps at test skates... I agree, it‘s unusual to see, Eteri skaters normally don‘t pop jumps, they rotate them fully but fall. But I don‘t think they will change the 3Lz-3Lo to 3Lz-3T, it‘s her trademark jump and she struggled with consistency on it last season too and then at the big events was perfect. She needs to peak at Worlds anyway to get that Gold. She will win this gold here in her GP debut so no harm is done at all. There is no one who can challenge her at this point. Her FS is the highest scoring at that event and she is almost always clean in the free.

It was heartbreaking to see Alina sad but I'm pretty sure she'll skate an amazing fs and win the event easily.
Yea she spoke quite good about her. I was surprise too.
But it's only what she as a reigning OGM deserve. So I hope TAT was late, but finally!

Evgenia does that, too and I frankly just don‘t understand it. People are cruel and they are young girls, why bother reading so much hate... I understand that they are curious, I myself would also want to know what the world says about me but it‘s just not good for one‘s mental health. Too much pressure.

I'm watching the post SP interview and it is HILARIOUS. Everyone is trying to ask Alina questions, even the Japanese translator for Yuna.
