Press Conference
Q: First in SP, first in FS. You must be happy with your skating this weekend.
Alina: I'm not happy with my short program in this competition. The free skating was better but it was still not ideal.
Q: What is your overall goal for this season?
Alina: To enjoy skating and to show good skating in each of my event.
Q: Can you elaborate to us which parts did you find struggling today?
Alina: I didn't have the same focus that I wanted to have. I was tough for me to leave the short program. I was analyzing for a long time, almost the whole night
Alina: In the morning when I woke up I told myself I have to skate well cause I want to make the spectators happy and to enjoy (my skating). Not everything was perfect today. I don't want to say "what (it is)". You probably saw it yourself.
Q: You have tapes in your right knee, right ankles. Do you have pains or injuries?
Alina: Something is bothering me but it's related to growing. It's a growing issue. Sometimes it's a little bit painful. I just need to train to overcome it
Q: Does it (new ISU rules) impact your training routine, and have you paid special attention on how to get more GOE?
Alina: No, after every Olympic games rules are changing. I know something would change. I just have to take it the way it is.
Q: You started your season strongly. Do you see these numbers as your target to beat before the season ends?
Alina: I'm not looking at the scores or at the placements that's up on the board. My goal is for my coaches, myself, the spectators to be pleased with my performances.
