Do like me....I completely left it this time around.
Still great to go to the first place and get links for stuff but I'm not going to reason with crazy talk.

The contest within the contest....
Did Alina get all level 4's in the SP and LP????

I'm too dumb to link directly on mobile, but he Talks about it at the beginning.
I hope she is fine and can skate the gala!
Yes. She's a good skater and I love her attitude; even on such a short preparation time she still performs. And yeah, she has the third highest score this season (even though I do question her world record scores).
Thank you for answering about the level 4's.
I don't know why you are questioning her WR scores in her fan forum though.
Does anybody have a translation to English?
Whole post.....and this....
And I want to see Lusk8 go all "Ronda Rousey" on whoever left the loose cable that Alina tripped over.
Hey pal - you just P***ed off the most positive person at GS. See 'ya - I wouldn't want to be 'ya!!!!
Alinka —
I can't go to the ice tomorrow and make a triple axel, right?
And the quad can not do, and jump higher than myself.
So, I just need to skate the way I can...
She surely is! And number 1 on ISU world standings...this shows who's the most consistent skater of the past two seasons [emoji173]Our girl is just perfect!!
Alina is wise beyond her years and works so hard to get to be the best that she can be, there are no limits to what she can and will achieve.
They just wait for me....I'm marching my way in Ronda Judo style, first I'll high kick the stadium door, then I'll jump into the arena and say "Alllllllllllllright, who let TV Cables loose all over the area Alina had to walk on, don't you know there are Olympic Gold legs you're having the privilege to see here, I'm still waiting.....who allowed this to happen."
On another positive note: she is listed for the gala, I hope they did get her thoroughly checked out to make sure it isn't a super serious injury, because if she broke something or tore something I don't think she should skate the Gala (even if she doesn't jump). I'm as excited as can be to see her skate her awesome Gala program here but not at the expense of the long game.
Part of me wonders how seriously her injury could even be...if she really tripped over a cable and fell. What could be injured? Let's have a think.
If she hit her head, well she didn't seem concussed or disoriented, so we can rule out head injuries.
If she landed awkwardly on an or on her body, we'd likely see her hold back on some movements (unless painkillers).
If she twisted her ankle, well she's still jumping 3Lz-3Lo, so that's not likely.
In conclusion: I can't think of what could be seriously hurt. I doubt we have much to worry about.
I am very impressed Alina skated after injuring herself. I wonder which foot it is, because when I saw her coming out of that first 3Lz, I thought for sure she was going to fall. Very impressed she didn't. It was a bit of an awkward landing which makes me think her right foot is the one she injured, if that is true I give huge congrats for her pulling off that -3Lo on an injured foot. This clearly wasn't her best performance technically, but I thought she was really selling it during the step sequence at the end. I really enjoyed watching her perform it.
Second is not bad, she is not over because on this day with these particular judges Rika was better. I think Alina is a very gracious competitor and she and Rika seem nice with each other. I am also almost positive that if she had not popped that combination, she would have won the gold. I do hope that this takes a bit of the pressure off her shoulders because she is still definitely Russia's #1 lady. I will bet on her winning gold at nationals and Euros. I believe in her.
Side note: In the photo where Alina is taking a picture, is that Eteri in the background talking to Rika? I can hardly see without my contacts![]()
