Hello everyone![]()
I have been a lurker for some time on this lovely thread and I now have the courage to post!
I am an Alina fan all the way from Argentina! The truth is I have never in my life skated on ice, since there are no ice rinks where I live (or in the whole country I think). As a little girl I practiced our type of figure skating, which is on the regular floor lol. However I have been a fan of the sport, and I watch all the competitions together with my friends and my cousins. I may not know as much as most of you about the sport and its rules, but I do share with you the love for Alina!!! I think she´s just so amazing and she seems to have such a wonderful personality. No other skater today makes me as happy when I watch figure skating as Alina.
With the negativity you sometimes see on other threads or on youtube videos (most of which come from jealous people) I wanted to come here and show you that Alina has many fans from all over the world! When I watch her with my friends, we all say that she makes us motivated and makes us want to work harder. And I think that´s just wonderful. And the fact that she´s so young and inspires so many people speaks for itself.
Congrats to her for her much deserved silver medal!

He addressed Alina with a question - Alina, is it hard time for you? Need support? You will not, it’s a pity that your army of fans consists entirely of idiots

Nice to see people from different countries coming everyday..
And then, when Rika came, I said that one was the first, and he said ''really?, what kind of sport is that? is these judges reliable? that one dissapears close to the other one (Alina)..''

Welcome dear..Nice to see people from different countries coming everyday..
Today was a funny day for me. I decided to make a fun night with my daughter to watch the entire gala show, lusk (thank you again!) sent me a link. SoI prepared everything and for my surprise my husband decided to join us. He does not like figure skating (only football). But today and somehow he decided to enjoy it. He does not know who is who, I talk about Alina sometimes but recently I was watching Medvedeva and he asked is she that Alina who you and Ella love? Lol.. So, today he was kind of criticizing every skater, even without understand the rules, he was like trying to find mistakes... Saying that the level was too bad because everyone was falling, and making these kind of bad comments. Then Alina came, I didn't said it was Alina, I was just waiting he criticizes, but then suddenly he just said ''oh..that one took it to a totally diferrent level!! is she in first right?'And then, when Rika came, I said that one was the first, and he said ''really?, what kind of sport is that? is these judges reliable? that one dissapears close to the other one (Alina)..''
It was funny because it came from someone with a totally different point of view and perspective.
About these crazy Alina's anti-fan..c'mon, always remember that quote: DO NOT AMPLIFY IMBECILE'S VOICES.
Alina is a show a part and it was amazing to see how happy and confident she was today.
Performances like the one she made today show everyone that she still the 1th one.

You beat me to it!!!
Just like Alina beat everyone else.....
Our Golden Girl is number one in her much deserved and worked for place.
Speaking of Gold....this heart of Gold (Alina gave her flower crown to Anna) speaks volumes as to why she is and will always be my number 1 (and only)

Despite the bobble on the LzT, I thought the rest of her jumps looked a lot better than they have all season. Her LzLo was well rotated, and very clean despite having problems with it before. The second half of the program she was a lot less tense and she got more into the music as well.
We really love such a remarkable girl. To come back after the Olympics, the first olympic champion to even make it to a GPF in the next season after they won, heck the fact that she's even still competing in Grand Prix series is remarkable. In all honesty while gold is great, I'm glad she got silver here. I always remember how devastating it was for Zhenya to not get anything but 1st and then come in 2nd in the Olys. It's good to learn how to be comfortable in second place, and it takes some pressure off of her. The fact that she did this after injuring her foot is more astounding. She's really strong, and like some commentators have said, she's a gritty skater who can pull it together when she needs to. In a way, she kind of reminds me of Yuzuru; he hasn't won everything in his career, at times was beaten out by younger competitors, but at the end of the day he won gold twice by sheer grit and keeping his cool when all the others could not. That's the kind of quality that makes a two time Olympic Gold medalist – and a quality I too see in Alina. She's really a skater for the ages, and despite all of the critics, I do see her being around for a long while yet. I hope this small 'bump' will only motivate her to get stronger and better.
I blame it all to the page 666 that we just gone past!
Alina, you are still the most beautiful champion!!
For those people who read yesterday this my comment in competition thread
— Rika completely overscored ..I can’t believe
I want to say I have nothing against Rika and did not try to insult her , I then explained why it wrote
— My post was just for fun, trolling if you wish ( and I am sorry Rika to use your name).. for those GS judges , who constantly writes here that Alina overscored , all her jumps UR (even she did well) and criticize the real judges
Once again ,I want to apologize to the Rika fans and those people who really liked her yesterday , I was angry

I'm glad I didn't follow the thread during competition![]()
And once again Nathan and Alina frustrate shippers by not standing next to each other in the gala finale group photo for the second time!![]()

Hearing Alina speak English was awesome! She is so adorable!![]()
