Wasn’t Slutskaya the one who threw her bronze medal in the trash because she lost to Arakawa at Torino Olympics?
She isn’t exactly an example of sportsmanship so it doesn’t surprise me at all.
Well they also wanted someone else to win the OG. And they didn't get their way then and I don't believe they will get it now. No matter what they try to do in the media (Looking at you Ari Zakarian).
But it's an interesting question. Who benefits financially in the long run from a negative outcome for Alina? (Nothing personal, just money.)

I don't know who Utkin is, but I can understand (although I don't agree with the exact words he used) why he said what he said![]()

Clickbait media articles aren't reality. It's an attempt to control perception. Whatever performance the skaters put down on the ice at Nats, that's the only reality that writes the script.
All Alina can do is go out there and kill it on the day.

They have good interviews and sometimes they have something worthwhile to say but other times it just exhausting.
From https://twitter.com/Zagicroft/status/1072154973482508288>RT Lol while waiting for Alina, Rika said "Zagi Zagi Zagi" and Kaochan "Ozagi", "Ozagi, hurry up!" Putting "O" before the name is a Japanese traditional way to create one's nickname.

Alina is no longer Alinka or Alinochka...she is now Ozagi![]()
by April/May ... but we know that fairytales are not stronger side of Russian literature). It's time for some people to realize that something has been lost forever. But really forever.....
Alina is an Olympic champion. News titles can not and will never be able to change that. And nobody through these titles can't get what he lost :roll5: (okay, I know that they tried to play this double-gold gameby April/May ... but we know that fairytales are not stronger side of Russian literature). It's time for some people to realize that something has been lost forever. But really forever.....

What? The Tale of Tsar Saltan, for the start (Pushkin)? The Snow Maiden? Ruslan and Lyudmila? Kashchey the Deathless? Well, russian fairytales were among my favourites

Well, I was thinking of: Russian tragedies vs Russian fairytales :scard8:
- Who the hell is Utkin? Is he a relevant person?
Russian Nationals. They're coming up soon and we are all excited to see Alina defend her title.- What is Russianuts? lolol
You speak about literature or real life?
No, he is irrelevant. He just wants to stir up trouble.

Thank you for sharing your story of Alina at the Olympics. I'm glad Alina has her coaches and volunteers like you to watch over her.
