Let’s not fight. Alina’s fan fest is supposed to be a positive place. You can debate all you want in the competition threads or on The Edge. To Alina fans: just don’t engage, because the main purpose in posting these remarks in fan fests is to rile us up. Be thrilled for Alina, she had a superb skate. Her fans should be happy for her. Who cares what the others think? They will always find something to criticize.

(and I am not kidding) this girl is so good she makes good look easy.

Then I just watched her SP.

Yeah - I agree with you.
She performed it so beautifully today.
Her jumps were really "on" - I particularly loved the long exit edge on the 2A.
But the rest of the program was the REAL highlight for me.
And to perform like this at what has to be the most stressful competition a Russian Ladies skater will ever have to face.

There are only a few times a skating performance really makes me emotional.
Today was one of those times.

And to think I was once a "POTO with 1 million music cuts" skeptic.
Not anymore.

Beautifully done.
