Alina Zagitova

When I was in penalty box before, I've always been interested in - does anyone see my likes? Now I see flanker's "like" for your post. So it is possible, а knock from the prison cell :) We remember you buddy! :)

Yes, you can like posts!! We see your likes, and I’m sure Flanker loved your mention and “virtual wave).

(Small aside about likes, because I’m using the GS app, will be for a month, I can’t like posts or see likes until I use Safari, or a browser anyway, yeah I know mobile Safari would allow me to both see likes and like posts but my phone screen is just too small for this to be comfortable/feasible, so, for just over a month, I’m on a like/seeing likes self imposed exile).

What penalty box? I m sure you will get likes.

No , its summer 2018

Ok I hope she will not flight to Japan the last minute like in Vancouver because Isu pays only for one day before the start of the competition. Alina has many sponsors in Japan, if they pay for her trip she could be in Japan several days before the worlds.

It’s this lovely young lady, she has other pictures with Alina and with the bear

Is Alina in Japan ? It’s great no jet lag like in Vancouver.

World's are not for a month or so.

I don't want her to have worlds jet lag either but she won't be there a month or so early.

When she gets back to Moscow EG and staff will coach her up until world's. This appears to be Alina's chance to win world's before 3a arrive as seniors and before Japan's #1 gets even better.

I hope Alina gets plenty of time to adapt for the time changes in Japan.

Part of the equation to make this viable (apart from ticket/hotel money) is finding an appropriate venue to train at before they are allowed into the official one (which I assume will only happen close to the day of).

I hope she gets at least 6/7 days there before she competes but whatever happens I have faith in her.

Alina is not only my favorite skater, she is a great skater and a hard worker. When she can be calm and relaxed, she is sharp and her intricate and super hard programs truly shine. I want her to shine and get the clean skates she’s working super hard for.

This is not her “only chance to win WC” (and here I’m not quoting anyone verbatim) this is her nearest chance. Other skaters can get better now or in the future, so I’ll confidently say that Alina too can get even better and has barely scratched the surface of her deep talents.

She can surely do it now and she can surely do it in the future too.

Go super Alina Zagitova!!!

How long is flanker incarcerated? Alina's thread needs him. And RL. Can we organise a jailbreak?

The local punishment system: if you do violations moderators write you in a personal dossier "infraction". Each infraction has an expiration date - 1 month (at least most of them, although I have a infraction that has a longer expiration date for some reason, maybe it is for a more serious one, I don’t know) from the date of appointment. You can see your infractions and the date they were issued in the "Setting". As soon as you have more than 3 "fresh" infractions, you get a penalty box - you can not write messages, your avatar picture temporarily disappears. Your conclusion will continue as long as you have more than 3 "fresh" infractions. Therefore, if you received them at one time - you are in prison for a month. If evenly, then about 7-10 days - until you breathe out the oldest infraction.

By the way, dear moderators (if you are reading this) - all this is not explained at all in this forum (absolutely!) and I had to understand all this myself by trial and error and random insights. In the Russian forums there is no such automatic system, moderators just write to you - "you are banned for 10 days", for example, and you know exactly the date of your "release". And here - just suddenly the possibility of commenting is turned off and you absolutely do not understand anything, and don't know nothing. The first time I was completely confused and even wrote on the mail in "Contact us" - "Please, tell me when my ban ends"? Of course, I was not welcome, they answered super-briefly, not from the first letter, and my subsequent timid requests to explain the system to me were answered - "everything is written in the Guidelines". I understood that Peter the Great's credo - "Ask for a little, speak briefly, go away quickly" - was respected there, so I finished the correspondence

Well said. I only said this wa her best chance to win worlds because of who is moving to senior next season. And Alina can still get better. She has to.
