I read on twitter, that Alina has to go to some tests before Russian Federation to prove her nomination into the team. Did you guys read something about that? I though she was oficially selected and that's a definitive verdict...

I believe this rumor was made up yesterday before the official announcement of the Worlds team was made

Honestly, given that she usually goes to competitions at last moment and does not linger in the destination after... it may be better for the doggie to stay the few days at home. Travel is bit more stressful for pets, since they cannot reason with themselves (well this journey sucks, but the destination will be awesome).

Hopefully Alina focused on skating at the worlds and then enjoys time with her pets afterwards.

Choosing the Worlds team became so ugly. I can't believe people are dragging Alina into it, blaming her for Evgenia being chosen over Liza. I just hope she can tune all this out (hopefully she is not on social media or checking the news ever) and can prepare calmly for Worlds. I really think her mistakes this season have been due to nerves, and her team needs to find a way to help her manage this. If she does, then she will be unbeatable, IMO.

I had to stop reading. Awful stuff. Nonsense.

Zhenya made world's without a meaningful win no Euros 7th at Rusnats no GP finals it has nothing to do with Alina. Alina has had ups and downs this season but has had the best season of any Russian much better than Meds. This is not debatable. Liza should skate for another country. She must be crushed. I hope Zhenya pulls her weight at world's Sofia too and I hope Alina is golden.
